Working With Us
Discover the value in working with a company that honors your authentic self.
No one strategy fits everyone, which is why every client has their own journey. We take a proactive approach to develop a personal finance strategy that is right for you.

Ongoing financial planning is more than a one-time plan.
Your financial life doesn’t stand still. Careers change. Families grow. Tax laws evolve. Markets fluctuate. Retirement goals shift. Major life decisions happen throughout the year, not just during an annual review.
That’s why we believe financial planning should be more than a one-time transaction or bill by-the-hour.
At Stages Planning Group, we build ongoing relationships with our clients, providing guidance throughout the year as life unfolds. Our role isn’t only to create a financial plan. We exist to help you make confident financial decisions every step of the way.
Ongoing Financial Planning
$600 per month or $6,600 annually when paid in full
A 12-month planning relationship
The first year establishes the foundation of your financial future. Together we’ll create a comprehensive financial plan, implement recommendations, and provide guidance as your life evolves.
What Your First Year Includes:
Discovery Meeting
We begin by understanding what matters most to you by exploring your goals, values, concerns, and financial priorities.
Comprehensive Financial Plan
Your recommendations are tailored specifically to your circumstances and may include: Retirement planning, Investment strategy, Tax planning opportunities, Cash flow planning, Insurance analysis, Estate planning considerations, Education funding, Employee benefits analysis, and Goal planning.
Plan Presentation & Implementation
We’ll walk through every recommendation together, answer your questions, prioritize next steps, and develop an action plan.
Follow-Up Planning Meeting
After implementation begins, we’ll review your progress, discuss any changes, and adjust your recommendations as needed.
Responsive Access Throughout the Year
Financial questions don’t always happen during scheduled meetings. Your ongoing planning relationship includes responsive access to your advisor whenever important financial decisions arise.

You can contact us by phone or email regarding topics such as:
Changing jobs
Salary negotiations
Retirement decisions
Buying or selling a home
College planning
Tax questions
Investment decisions
Insurance questions
Receiving an inheritance
Stock options or restricted stock
Major purchases
Family changes
Most questions can be answered through email, a phone call, or a brief virtual meeting. When your situation requires a deeper conversation, we’ll schedule additional time to work through it together. As your financial partners, our goal is straightforward: When life changes, we will be there to help.
Your Planning Relationship Continues
Financial planning is an ongoing process, not a document that sits on a shelf. After your first year, your planning relationship continues with proactive guidance and regular reviews to help keep your financial life aligned with your goals. Your continuing relationship includes:
- Two scheduled planning meetings each year
- Updates to your financial plan
- Ongoing retirement planning
- Tax planning discussions
- Investment guidance
- Estate planning coordination
- Accountability toward your financial goals
- Responsive advisor access throughout the year
When your financial life changes, your plan should evolve with it.

Why We Don’t Charge by the Hour
Hourly billing creates the wrong incentive. It makes clients wonder whether asking a question is “worth the cost.”
We believe your financial planner should be someone you feel comfortable calling before making an important financial decision, not after.
Our planning relationship removes the clock from the conversation so you can focus on making better decisions instead of worrying about billable time.
Investment Management
Investment management is separate from financial planning.
If you choose Stages Planning Group to manage your investments, you’ll receive reduced investment management fees as outlined in our Investment Management Fee Schedule.
We’ll discuss whether investment management is appropriate for your circumstances as part of your planning process.
Fee-only fiduciary financial planning and investment management is what we do.
You might be surprised to learn just how much you pay the average financial advisor, from hidden fees to commissions on products you may not actually need. Schedule a free consultation with us today.
